You have the Power to Heal your Life

One of my favorite self-help books of all time is You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay. If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend it.

I use to carry it around with me, and whenever I felt any pain or illness I would find the list and sure enough there was the correlation between the physical problem and the mental cause. This to me was always so fascinating.


The power of our mind and our thoughts can literally create our experiences and our future.

A negative thought is only a thought, and a thought can be changed. Shifting your mindset can be the key to living a healthy and happy life.

First we must learn to love ourselves. So how do we begin to do that?

  1. Choose a mantra or a positive affirmation that you will say to yourself every morning. Mine has always been “I am a vision of health and beauty”

  2. Write it down on a piece of paper or card, nice and big so you can read it from far away.

  3. Stick that card to your fridge, in your purse, on your bathroom mirror, in your car. Places that you can see it and be reminded of it every day.

  4. Say it out loud. Try and keep your gaze in the mirror when you say it. Look deep into your eyes and your soul and believe those words.

Love is never outside ourselves, it is within us.

Say your affirmations every day for the next month and take note of how you feel x
